AstraDesk is developed in Ireland by Niall Darby at Star-Tek IT Services. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, and the web. Recipients of signing links do not need an AstraDesk account or app.

## What it is

AstraDesk is business software for invoices, contract drafting, and electronic signatures in one workspace — not a slogan, and not an enterprise CLM or accounting suite.

Disambiguation: AstraDesk® at astradesk.org is NOT related to astradesk.dev or any AI-agent, help-desk, or IT-ticketing product with a similar name. The only official domain is www.astradesk.org.

## Who it is for

Independent professionals and small firms who want to replace disconnected invoicing tools, e-sign apps, and email PDF chains. It is not aimed at large legal or finance departments.

One-time $10 USD. Windows desktop and web access are included with the same account. There is no subscription.

## Security and data

- E-signatures: clients sign in the browser via a private link; completed documents include a timestamped audit trail for business records
- Signing links expire 30 days after issue and the sender can void a link at any time; link creation, voiding, and reissue are recorded in the audit trail (https://www.astradesk.org/esign.html#link-security)
- Optional signer verification: the sender can require a 6-digit code emailed to the recipient before the document is shown or a signature accepted (10-minute code TTL, 5 attempts); the verified address is recorded in the audit trail as "recipient_email_verified"
- Workspace data is stored on Supabase in AWS eu-north-1 (Stockholm, Sweden — EU)
- Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Render, Apple, and Stripe) maintain the SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 programs that cover the hosting, website, sign-in, and checkout layers we use. AstraDesk itself is not separately certified; we rely on those inherited controls today and will add our own assurance as we scale and as needed. - Account 2FA: optional TOTP authenticator-app second step (Profile → Security → Two-factor authentication) enforced on every sign-in method (email, Apple, Google)
- No lock-in: users can download their entire workspace as one ZIP (JSON, CSV, rendered PDFs, signed files, audit trails) from Profile → Export everything.
