Official download only

Get the installer from this page or from our public release at ND1-Sdo/AstraDesk-Windows. Do not use a random mirror, email attachment, or a copied .exe from someone else.

The main AstraDesk source repo is private. That GitHub repo is only the Windows installer we publish.

Install

Download AstraDesk-Setup.exe and open it.
If SmartScreen appears, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Finish setup, launch AstraDesk, then sign in.

Which file?

Installer — default. Adds AstraDesk to the Start menu.
Portable zip — unzip and double-click AstraDesk.exe. No setup wizard.

Verify the file

The current windows-desktop installer is not Authenticode-signed. Windows SmartScreen may warn. Check the SHA-256 of the file you downloaded against these values, then you can upload that same file to VirusTotal.

On Mac/Linux: shasum -a 256 AstraDesk-Setup.exe. On Windows PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\\AstraDesk-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256.
